Rinella

2020

I am absolutely fascinated by the traditional sicilian maioliche patterns since the time I was working as a ceramic artist back home in Sicily.

By recreating and updating some of my favourite patterns, I am trying to keep the traditions alive and bring a little bit of Meditteranean magic to the world and collectors homes.

This particular work was created based on my latest visit back home and to the island of Salina, with its famous black volcanic beach Rinella.
